Scene Designer amplifies the power of the Gamebryo engine and tools, delivering the ability to assemble new worlds from discrete assets more rapidly than ever before.
Scene Designer lets you:
- Easily place entities in a scene based on Gamebryo models and animations
- Add and edit properties on entities in the scene
- Specify, place and optimize lights and cameras
- Accurately preview a scene in real time to see how it will appear in your application, including lighting, shaders and particle systems
Productivity enhancements to Scene Designer
Version 2.6 includes improvements to Scene Designer including:
- Multi-user capabilities to allow artists to work on separate layers concurrently
- Lockable layers to prevent accidental overwrites
- Easier placement of compound entities by treating multiple entities as a single prefab which inherits transforms from a master
- Simplified workflows for instancing common entity combinations
- Usability enhancements including entity tagging for more efficient world design
- New search and filter functions
