FFF is an immersive virtual learning platform for forest firefighters and others actors of the civil protection. In a lifelike virtual environment with terrain configurable through geo-data, up to 50 users interact in a variety of roles (team leader, plane pilots, coordinator,…) to fight a simulated fire supported by physical model for smoke and fire propagation.
The platform has a configurable terrain based on geo-data and various flora models. Instructors can modify in real-time simulation parameters such as weather, resources and fire starting locations.
