CALABASAS, Calif. – Industry leaders worldwide continue to join Emergent Game Technologies’ partner program, Tech Connection. Today the maker of the critically-acclaimed Gamebryo video game development platform announced it has signed eight key industry players as certified partners. New Tech Connection partners include AiLive, Allegorithmic, Anark, CRI Middleware, NaturalMotion, Kynogon, soVoz and Umbra, making it one of the most comprehensive partner programs in the video game development industry.
The program creates an extensive technical solution for game developers using Emergent’s Gamebryo engine and, with multiple choices in several technology areas, allows them to choose the solution that best meets their needs.
“Emergent’s partnership program offers a modular approach to an integrated game production system. Our flexible and scalable framework allows leading middleware products to work together out-of-the-box helping us build out an ecosystem of service to the industry,” said Scott Johnson, President of Emergent. “Through these unprecedented partnerships customers can easily evaluate and purchase the broadest range of game production solutions and design tools, and can be confident the solutions will work together seamlessly.”
Emergent’s new Tech Connection partners include:
AiLive LiveMove Pro
LiveMove Pro recognizes any motion made with a motion-sensitive controller such as the Wii Remote. Game developers define game controls by providing example motions. No scripting. No coding. LiveMove Pro enables you to quickly prototype game controls, provides zero-lag motion recognition, syncs animations with player motion and has full support for button-free game control.
Allegorithmic ProFX
ProFX is the one and only middleware solution for the professional authoring and on-the-fly rendering of procedural textures. Some of the heavy hitters in the industry, including Bioware Austin, IO Interactive, Red 5 Studios, Gearbox Software, and CCP are using morpheme to take their games to new heights.
soVoz ProScena Studio™
soVoz, Inc. is pioneering the use of video game technology in the creation of next generation training and education applications. ProScena Studio™ provides content developers with access to a set of high-level design tools, reusable content libraries and role-appropriate user interfaces for creating real-time interactive 3D simulation and training scenarios.
Umbra
Umbra provides an effective blend of cutting edge visibility technologies, including occlusion culling, hierarchical view frustum culling, and portal culling to avoid any processing of 3D content which is hidden from view. Umbra is available on PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360™ and PC.
The Emergent’s Tech Connection certified partner program features products from middleware companies who provide technology that is complementary to Gamebryo. Emergent will work with partner companies to co-develop a tight integration that will work out-of-the-box with Gamebryo. Tech Connection ensures that a partner’s code and documentation meet Emergent’s strict quality standards. Tech Connection also requires that sample code is provided to show developers how to use Gamebryo with the partner product.
