Lucien Barrière Hotels & Casinos has created LeCroupier.com, which offers an online gambling space where visitors can play for fun or real money.

Pitched as 'the world's first truly online 3D casino' LeCroupier.com lets users create avatars and explore a large virtual space based on the real world locations managed by Lucien Barrière.

“Bringing our heritage and experience from land-based casinos into the online gaming world we have a created a game that is sure to capture people’s attention,” said Jon Strock, LeCroupier.com CEO. “Anyone playing LeCroupier.com will be impressed by its superb graphics, life-like avatars and range of games. Modelled on our casino in Deauville, LeCroupier.com will be so realistic our players will almost be able to feel the felt.”

The online casino is built using using the Gamebryo game engine, which is typically used in full budget console and PC releases including The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

To promote responsible gaming, LeCroupier.com is to offer a number of online tutorials and a dedicated responsible gaming area to aid customers with their gambling decisions.

At launch, the website offers visitors blackjack, roulette and slots.
