Speed Racer for Nintendo Wii: Built With Gamebryo Game Engine Speed Racer

Speed Racer

Sidhe Interactive

Warner Bros. Interactive

Built With the Gamebryo Game Development Suite

Players get into the driver's seat with Speed Racer, based on the 2008 Wachowski Brothers film and developed with the Gamebryo game development tools.
With its garage of combat-ready rides, Speed Racer lets players enjoy "car-fu”-styleaction as they take on the roles of the characters from the film. Each character has a signature vehicle, giving a first-hand experience of the film's high-adrenaline, combative racing style.
Speed Racer places the true film experience in the players' control as they take on their opponents, racing at top speeds and battling for the WRL cup.

Be a Demon on Wheels (or on Jacks, or with Saws…)

Players can choose between three different variations of young driver Speed's Mach 5, each one equipped with several gadgets that are unique to the car, like grip tires, rotary saws, a periscope, a deflector and auto jacks.
All of the gadgets have a specific purpose: rotary saws, for instance, cut down any trees that get in the way. The auto jacks allow the Mach 5 to jump over obstacles and discover shortcuts.
Discovering the shortcuts is the key to getting the fastest times on all three tracks and mastering the Normal and Endurance modes. When the player's skills advance, new vehicles are unlocked, including the mysterious Racer X.
